Poole Park, Ruthin, North Wales The restoration of a Grade II 19th century country house set in 21 acres. The house was originally the home of Lord Bagot, a sugar merchant and later the home of Sir Ernest Tate. To enable the restoration of the house a number of new-build houses are designated for within the curtilage and historic walled garden. The project is considered of such importance that it will be overseen by CADW and The Design Commission for Wales in Cardiff. Planning work will begin next month.
